HARISONS is a specialised store in fabrics, offering customers a wide range of apparel fabric, furnishing fabric and home furnishing ready-made fabric products, sourced from all over the world including locally made products.
HARISONS' operations began in July 1996 with the formation of a company to manage a new retail outlet with the brand name of HARISONS. The first HARISONS' store opened its doors to the public on 8th December 1997 at 165 – 169, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur.
It occupied four levels.
The day-to-day operations are professionally managed using state-of-art computer technology. The operations are fully computerised at the back-office and link the retail Point-of-Sales (POS) system. A central main server links to ‘support' the ‘shop' servers on all system related functions.
HARISONS believes in offering quality, only factory grade ‘A' products to their customers. The store's merchandisers work very closely with the retail sales staff to carefully select the latest designs and quality for their fabric. Special exclusively made product orders are given to manufacturers to ensure good and acceptable designs with colours to suit current trends and local customer needs. HARISONS educates their customers by labelling every product, stating its description, width and colour.
HARISONS endeavours to departmentalise their merchandise and offer easy selection for the customers. The pricing offered is competitive and reasonable given the high quality of its products.
To provide the latest modern shopping facilities for their customers, in 2005, HARISONS decided to construct a purpose built fabric speciality store, which opened to the public in 2007. The new store contains 6 levels of specialised departments, and provides a complete selection range.
HARISONS' fabric collections comprise one of the largest and best varieties made available in Malaysia . The varieties and diversity of our range offers our customers the opportunity to choose and utilise our fabrics in realising their dreams.
